AfriVoices provides AI-powered voice synthesis services optimized for African languages and accents, including:

• Text-to-speech conversion
• Voice customization
• API access for developers
• Audio file generation and download

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

• You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account
• You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
• One person or business may maintain only one active account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials

3.2 Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• We are not liable for any loss or damage from your failure to maintain security

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Permitted Uses

You may use AfriVoices for:

• Creating voice content for legitimate business purposes
• Educational and research applications
• Personal creative projects
• Accessibility applications

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use AfriVoices to:

• Create content that impersonates real individuals without consent
• Generate misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent content
• Produce content that violates any laws or regulations
• Create content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Generate harmful, abusive, or offensive material
• Engage in any automated scraping or data harvesting
• Resell or redistribute the service without authorization

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Service Plans

• Free Tier: Limited usage as specified on our website
• Paid Plans: Various subscription tiers with different features and limits
• Prices are displayed in KES and may vary by region

5.2 Billing

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Payment is due immediately upon subscription
• We accept credit cards, M-Pesa, and other payment methods as available
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law

5.3 Price Changes

• We may change our prices with 30 days' notice
• Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance
• You may cancel before changes take effect

6. Intellectual Property Rights

• AfriVoices platform, technology, and trademarks belong to us
• You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer our service
• All voice models and underlying technology remain our property

6.2 Your Rights

• You retain ownership of your input text
• You receive a license to use the generated voice output
• Generated audio can be used commercially within the scope of your plan

7. Termination

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period
• No refunds for partial billing periods

7.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Non-payment
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the service
